Jacie's First Talk in Church

Jacie had her first talk in church today on John 14:6. We practiced with her before and she would always act so shy and turn away and not want to do it, but she did a great job when it came to actually doing it. She stood up, confidently, and looked at each picture we had. I had to prompt her a bit, but she was able to talk about what Jesus did in his life and what we can do to be like him so we can return to live with him someday. The first couple of times she said it she almost yelled in the microphone, pretty funny, but then she seemed to get the hang of it for awhile. By the end of it, I think she was just done and decided she didn't want to do it anymore so it became more of a whisper and she started to turn her head away. But, for a 4 year old and her first experience doing this kind of thing, I was amazed at her for what she accomplished! It is so fun watching your kids grow up and realizing that they are learning something from what you teach them and they are becoming their own little people! This is definitely something that's going in her little journal for her to remember!
