Jacie had been so excited to go tell Santa that she wants a "Dora Pegsus" (Pegasus) for Christmas. So, we were at the mall getting Christmas pictures and decided to go visit Santa too! Rylie had no problem at all sitting on his lap, but Jacie was hysterical! She has always cried in the past when we've tried to get a Santa picture, but we thought she was over it since she had been talking about visiting him for so long. We were wrong! We finally got her to sit by him, but she wouldn't even look at him. I asked her later what happened and she said that she is afraid of his beard and wants him to shave it off! She said she wanted to let him know what she wants for Christmas but won't go see him until the beard is off! Knowing that will never happen, I told her we could email him instead and it was the perfect thing for her. We went to a fun website that you need to check out...http://www.emailsanta.com (your child can send an email and gets a message back from Santa in a matter of seconds with specific info according to what your child asks for). Anyway, under additional comments she said "Santa, I do not like your beard. It scares me! You need to shave it off and then I will be happy. That is a good idea...then, I will come see you!"

Not even bribing her with candy would work! Now that's real fear I tell ya!P.S. I'm not a fan of this Santa's look...where have you gone to get Santa pictures?

When Dyson had his first Christmas we went to the southtown mall and had them taken there. The Santa at that mall was so amazing. He was the best Santa I have ever seen. We haven't gone back there so I don't know if it's the same guy, but he was really good and not ornery looking like this Santa.
