Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving Day was spent this year with the Phillipps' family and we had a great time eating, playing games, searching Black Friday ads for good deals and eating some more. Tyler even got to eat some real turkey for the first time!

Rachel and I headed out for our traditional Black Friday shopping, but at a much better time this year....we just went to Wal-Mart this year, we arrived at 11:00 and were done and in line before midnight. We picked the slowest line possible so we didn't leave until 1:15, but that was the best Black Friday experience I've ever had. I was home and back in bed by 2:00 (that's the earliest I've gotten home ever, in fact, most years we don't even leave the house until after that time)

And in the spirit of Thanksgiving...I did take some time to think about just how grateful I am for everything I have...my great family and friends, the gospel, the scriptures, our new neighborhood and neighbors, a job and for prayer and forgiveness. I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with quality time spent with family and friends!
