We had such a fun Halloween this year. I don't know what it is, but it is just so much fun to dress up as something/someone else, go trick-or-treating to get candy, carving jack-o-lanterns and it seems like there is an array of fun parties and events to attend. This year definitely did not disappoint. We had a mermaid (Jacie), a fairy (Rylie) and a dragon (Tyler). Tyler's dragon outfit was so cute...we loved how it said "Roar" on the feet (see pic below).
Jacie wanted to be a mermaid (remember her Ariel birthday earlier this year). She just loves mermaids right now. We had asked her if she wanted to buy a red wig or spray paint her hair red to look more like Ariel and she replied, "that's okay Mom, I don't need to be Ariel, I'm my own mermaid".
Rylie wanted to be a fairy this year and she had the perfect pixie haircut to enhance the look (remember the sister-cutting-her-hair incident early in the summer). She also wants to have a fairy birthday party...do you sense a theme of repetition with my girls???
Carving jack-o-lanterns and picking out the seeds to roast and eat!
The Ward Carnival/Chili Cook-Off. The girls had fun going around with friends to fish for prizes, eat donuts off of a string, do a treat walk, and go on a haunted hayride two or three times. Jacie is with her new best friend, Josie, in the pictures below.

Making a jack-o-lantern pizza! We had a lot of fun making one of our own this year. I have seen them sold by some pizza companies and thought we could easily make our own! So yummy!
Cornbelly's with the family!

Rylie got to go to a pumpkin patch with her preschool class and they also had a dress-up day.

We had a fun halloween party with our extended family on the 30th. Here is a picture of most of those that were there!
