We are loving the summertime this year! We've been busy house hunting and working out financing to buy a new home, but inbetween that craziness we have been having such a fun time with our family and extended family-I guess that's one of the joys of being a teacher, having the whole summer to play together!!! Here is an update on some of the fun things we've been doing.
Cherry Hill
Our girls LOVE swimming and this is one of their all time favorite locations.

Princess Festival
We probably would've never paid to go (and we're glad we didn't because it's pretty pricey and not that great), but we got free tickets to this year's Princess Festival. The girls got dressed up in princess attire and they got to go on an adventure to help save the princesses and true love and in turn, become real princesses. The also had to go on a Scavenger Hunt where at the end they were fitted for a shoe to see if they were indeed true princesses and thanks to someone measuring their feet and giving them a code word at the second to last location (identfying the size of shoe that would fit) they both were indeed, true princesses. It was fun for the girls, but not really worth it if we had had to pay...just fyi if you are thinking about going next year. But, hey, since it was free, it was great!

(I think these last two pics are hi-larious...it was pretty hot outside and this is at the end of the time they were there...they look so excited, don't they?)
