Tyler is 4 months old (yesterday) and he is such a cute baby. He now weighs about 14 lbs. 4 oz. and is 25 1/4 inches long. He is only in the 20th percentile for weight even though he has some chubby leg rolls emerging...so strange since our girls were both in the 75th-90th percentile always. I hope he starts gaining some weight soon! Well, maybe until he's walking we're okay with him weighing less. Tyler is now eating oatmeal and loves it...he does push it out with his tongue a lot, still figuring it all out, but he does love to eat!

He is becoming a little more high maintenance, funny since our girls were less diva-ish than he is now. He will only fall asleep nursing and or in his swing. He loves playing with people and getting lots of attention. He will only tolerate the bouncer/tummy time/bumbo for a short amount of time before grunting for someone to come entertain him. I guess he's been spoiled, but we do love holding him, playing with him and cuddling/nursing him to sleep so I guess it's our fault. I'm sure in time he'll become a little more independent, for now I sure do love my time babying him (except for the times we he just won't sleep until he's nursed to sleep)!
Since Tyler's been born we've been worried about his head tilt (torticollis) and it has been getting better, but his head is still misshapen so the doctor had us take him to get a CT scan. He did really well, laid so still for it and we got the results back that everything was normal...phew! Now he just has to have some physical therapy and some positioning techniques to help round out his head. We're hoping he won't need a helmet!
Lots of tummy time!

My little guy was smaller than both his sisters. I think that is normal for boys. My girls still tower over most of the boys in their class and on the soccer field. But each year the gap closes. Glad his head is okay. Hope you are getting some rest!
