Tyler is now 18 months old (and a few days). He is still so small...he is only 21 lbs. 6 oz. and 31 1/2 inches tall.
Some positives:
He has such a fun personality and the cutest laugh ever.
He has such a fun personality and the cutest laugh ever.
He loves to give kisses, sing songs-he tries to do the actions to "Itsy-Bitsy Spider" and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and loves to play peek-a-boo still.
He has now started imitating people and things. His newest thing is acting like a puppy. He will crawl around and stick out his tongue and pant...so funny. He loves to put on different people's shoes and walks around in them. Whenever he finds a phone (or something that looks similar) he will act like he is talking...he even say "a-lo". He loves to sit on the couch and put the laptop on his lap (just like we will do). He also loves to play with the compter...he loves the nursery rhyme videos on Starfall.
He loves to play outside...He will grab our hands and drag us places, mostly to help him open the door to go outside. He loves us to swing him or jump on the tramp with him. He does the craziest swinging on his tummy...I need to videotape it and share.
He knows a few words and signs. He says: Mom, mama, dada, no, alo-hello, uh-oh, my-mine, na-na (banana). He signs: more, all done, food, drink
Some Negatives:
He is definitely becoming a little monkey...he climbs everywhere and gets into everything. He loves to make lots of messes-he'll throw his food or chew it up and spit it out all over the house. He loves to climb up onto the counter and make soap/water messes by the sink and empty out all the cupboards.

He has settled into the screeching phase...he sounds like a pteradactyl. It is so loud and high...it becomes an instant tension building event. We are working on teaching him some more sign language and helping him learn new words, but he just isn't into that as much...I guess the screeching works since we usually give him what he wants pretty quickly or we might risk going deaf. Ha!
He is just such a cute little boy and still a Mama's boy. We finally gave up on the nursing thing around 16 months...it was hard letting go of that. He just seemed so much more attached to me and nursing than my girls. I do miss that cuddling time. He is just so busy now that he doesn't like to cuddle for very long anymore. But, he loves being around me and loves to give me lots of hugs and kisses. I just love my little guy!!!
