Merry Christmas!

The Phillipps' Family Top Ten Events from 2009:

1. Rylie got staples in her head while we were on vacation in Las Vegas.
2. We found out we were expecting a baby in February only to find out we had lost it in April, then gratefully we were able to get pregnant again in June…We’re expecting March 20, 2010.
3. A family trip to DisneyWorld---it was a 1st time visit for all of us and the girls can’t stop talking about it!
4. Curt was put back into a church calling working with the Young Men and Scouting and he couldn’t be happier about it.
5. Buying a new van (new to us anyway) for our growing family.
6. Trieste was able to get a full-time job teaching job after too many interviews this time. But, it is quite the crazy adventure…teaching ½ time Kindergarten at one school and ½ time ELP (the advanced students) at another school.
7. Jacie started preschool this year. The great thing is that she is at the same school as her Mom during the same hours, which makes it easy for commuting to work/taking her to school.
8. Having 2 potty-trained children!
9. Grandma & Grandpa Phillipps left on a mission in Sendai, Japan. They are already missed so much.
10. Finding out that our baby we’re expecting is going to be a BOY!

So, that’s our big news 0f 2009 in a nutshell. It’s been a fun, adventurous, challenging and faith-building year. We have had some ups and some downs, but I would definitely say it has been a great year this year. We are grateful for family and friends and want you all to know how much we love all of you! We hope you all have a great holiday season! We are grateful to know that at this time of year we can reflect on what has happened in our lives and think more about the Savior and what he has done for all of us.
