Jacie wanted to make " a happy home, a mad home and a sad home" jack-0'-lanterns. I love that she has incorporated what we've been trying to teach her into all her activities! We have been talking about the way she acts and how it can have an impact on the feeling in our home...so I just think it was great that she has obviously learned something and can apply it in her life!
Jacie loved getting her hands all gross with pumpkin guts, but Rylie wouldn't even get close.
Rylie did love the ears we put on the "happy" jack-o'-lantern though (Jacie said she wanted to make one of them into a bear one...but after we put them on she said it looked more like "a people". Oh well, I tried! Anyway, Rylie wouldn't stop twisting the ears around and around, eventually causing the toothpicks to break and the ears to fall off!
Check out the emotional jack-o'-lanterns (the sad one even has a tear falling down...since you probably can't see it)!

Your little girls are adorable! I have been meaning to email you for ages---I'm terrible at keeping up, I know. I promise to do it soon!
