6 Years Old!

Jacie is 6 today! How does that happen? I cannot believe how quickly she is growing up. She is in Kindergarten and is reading and writing and has already lost 7 of her baby teeth. Life just moves way too fast! Here are some facts about our little girl:

Favorite color: Red

Favorite food: Chicken legs (she calls them chicken bones)

Favorite book: She loves to read so she has a lot...but, right now, it's either The Gingerbread Man or Tangled

Favorite thing to do: Go with Grandma Kercher or Mom/Dad for one-on-one time
or paint/work on crafts

Favorite Game: Princess Monopoly

Best Friend: Josie & Maddie

Best Friend at School: Martha (she also has a "boy" friend, but she still doesn't know his name)

Favorite movie: Tangled

Favorite character: Rapunzel (she is having a "Tangled" birthday party)

Dislikes:

Any food with sauce...she doesn't like to dip anything or eat spaghetti with sauce

Getting dressed by herself (she always wants help to put on something)

THE PARTY

She invited her friends over for a Tangled/Princess party. We had 6 girls and they all dressed up like princesses. Jacie, of course, had to be Rapunzel. We made princess crowns, played pin-the-hair on Rapunzel, and Mother Gothel freeze tag. While the girls were playing games, someone stole the bday party favors that had jewelry inside. They all thought it must have been Flynn Ryder and made wanted posters to catch him, then we went on a scavenger hunt to find the missing loot. We found all the bags hidden around the house, then it was time for presents and Rapunzel cake and ice cream! Jacie got some fun gifts (a big LPS to decorate, a princess bath kit, princess jump rope, mirror/comb, princess polly pockets, a new blanket, a new scooter and of course, the Rapunzel doll that was used for the cake.
