For all of you that are not from Utah, the 24th of July is the celebration of the day when the pioneers arrived in Utah. It's kind of like a repeat of the 4th of July with a parade, fireworks and family fun. We got together with the Kercher side of the family at Tiff & James' house (the house I grew up in while in SLC).
Here is a picture of all of us there. My brother, Brendan, his girlfriend, Kelly and his boy, Christian; Jacie, Curt, Rylie & me; and Tiffany, James, Kaylie and baby Josh. My Mom is taking the picture (trying to avoid being in the picture).
We lit some of our own fireworks for the kids...Christian is still so scared of them, Rylie would put her hands up on her face (you can see it below from the back) and Kaylie would cover her mouth at times. Jacie just seemed to like it or was even bored at times.

It's almost hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil...Jacie wouldn't cover up her eyes (we tried)!

After our own fireworks, we walked down to Liberty Park to watch the big ones...the kids loved their glow-in-the-dark necklaces! We had a fun time and enjoyed being with family!
